I extend my warmest congratulations to each of you on assuming your roles as part of the executive board of KORO Filipino. Your dedication and commitment to serving our community are commendable, and I am confident that you will uphold the values and vision of our organization.

As stewards of KORO and the community, your responsibilities are multifaceted.

Your leadership will shape the direction of KORO Filipino. Set a clear vision for the organization, one that encompasses the Filipino community in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Your decisions will impact lives, and I trust that you will lead with wisdom and compassion.

Reach out to our members, listen to their needs, and foster a sense of belonging. KORO Filipino is more than an organization; it is a family. Create opportunities for fellowship, cultural exchange, and spiritual growth. Let us celebrate while standing united in faith.

Remember that your roles go beyond administrative tasks. Serve with humility and a servant’s heart. Be proactive in identifying ways to support those in need, both within our community and beyond. Acts of kindness and compassion will leave a lasting impact.

I appreciate the ADHOC committee’s efforts in establishing our constitution and by-laws. Uphold these guidelines with integrity. They provide the framework for transparent governance and ensure that our actions align with our shared values.

Welcome Maestro Elmer to Koro Filipino Bahrain.

Bro Elmer will be joining KORO Filipino to accompany the choir and also teaches the choir.

He is also a Choir Master in one of the parishes in Iligan City.

The newly formed Episcopal Choir will be singing during the Pontifial Mass at the Cathedral or any Special Pontifical Mass includes commemoration of the an event such as a Dedication of the Cathedral, Feast, Chrism Mass, Anniversary of Ordination, etc.

Feast of Our Lady of Arabia

The Feast of Our Lady of Arabia will be celebrated at the Cathedral in Awali on Friday, 12th January at 9.30 am. There will be a Pontifical Mass by H.E. Bishop Aldo Berardi and all the priests. All are welcome. Due to the Feast and the Family Day at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia on this day, all Catechism Classes, the 9.00 am Catechism Children Mass and the 10.30 am Youth Mass remain cancelled.

Tagalog Mass at Sacred Heart Church @ 12:30pm.
