 The tradition of a Jubilee Year, also called a Holy Year, can be traced back to the Old Testament, when the Law of Moses decreed special years to be times of forgiveness of debts and other acts of reconciliation among people.

Nugent, Apostolic Nuncio to Kuwait, Qatar and Apostolic Nuncio in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Friday, 10th December 2021, at 10:00 

 His Majesty King Hamad's personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa opened the largest Roman Catholic Cathedral in the Arabian Peninsula - the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia - in Awali, today.  

 OLA-Filharmonic Chorale - The Our Lady of Arabia Filharmonic Chorale is composed of different Filipino Choirs from the catholic churches in the Kingdom of Bahrain: Sacred Heart Church in Manama (Koro Filipino Male Choir, El Shaddai Gospel Choir and Himig San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir) and Our Lady of Visitacion Church in Awali (Awali Choir) with Bro. Glenn D. Raz as conductor. 

 The unweaving commitment of all the members are truly exceptional.  
The Grand Choir for the Papal Mass are composed from different choirs in both parishes - Sacred Heart Church and The Cathedarl of Our Lady of Arabia.

Pope Francis' Apostolic Visit in the Kingdom fo Bahrain. November 5, 2022.

 The Filipino Catholic Community (Music Ministry) of Sacred Heart Church and Our Lady of Arabia Cathedral headed by the Spiritual Director, Rev Fr. Anthony Almazan OFM Cap. today August 8, 2022, made its spiritual formation focusing on "commitment" to serve.  

 On January 28, 2023, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Aldo Berardi as the new Vicar Apostolic of Northern Arabia. A French Trinitarian priest of Italian origins, Father Berardi will be ordained a Bishop on March 18, 2023 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia at 10 o'clock in the morning Bahrain time. He will be taking charge of one of the largest and most complex dioceses in the world, spanning four countries.
